Understanding whether a man’s age affects fertility, pregnancy, and baby health can be confusing and emotionally charged for many people trying to conceive. If you have ever been told that fertility is only a woman’s issue, wondered whether men can have children at any age, or are concerned about how paternal age may affect miscarriage risk, pregnancy outcomes, or childhood development, this video is for you. In this episode, I explain what scientific research actually shows about paternal age and fertility, how sperm quality changes over time, and why ignoring men’s age can lead to unexpected challenges when trying to conceive.

In this video, you’ll learn:

• How a man’s age affects sperm quality, DNA fragmentation, and fertility

• What research shows about paternal age and time to pregnancy

• The link between advanced paternal age and miscarriage risk

• How men’s age may influence pregnancy outcomes and birth complications

• What studies show about paternal age and child health outcomes

• The difference between association and causation in fertility research

• Why celebrity pregnancies can create misleading assumptions about male fertility

• What couples should know when trying to conceive in their 40s and beyond

• Questions to ask your doctor about paternal age and fertility testing

Understanding paternal age, sperm health, and reproductive biology can help couples make informed decisions and avoid unnecessary myths or blame. Whether you are trying to conceive later in life, navigating fertility concerns as a couple, feeling pressure about age and reproduction, or looking for honest, evidence-based medical information, this video will help you feel informed, empowered, and confident in your reproductive choices.
