I don\u2019t know how to describe the feelings I have right now. I\u2019ve been having a suspicion about a surgeon that could have taken advantage sexually of my girlfriend.<\/p>\n
So few weeks ago my girlfriend had a surgery in her leg. It\u2019s one of the most common procedures, and her case was nothing complicated at all as per the diagnosis and the surgeon who did the surgery. When she first got the appointment, it was set on a certain date, then just a week or less before the day of the surgery, they informed her that the date was changed due to a special situation that the rooms won\u2019t be available, and it was then set for her to be few days sooner. Then they again changed that date for her and told her it would be the next day of that new appointment. Up until this point, I still didn\u2019t think anything of it but I was just wondering what would cause the dates to change so much.<\/p>\n
The scheduling of the surgery is supposed to be in the morning, say 8:00 AM. Unfortunately due to very difficult circumstances, I couldn\u2019t be at the hospital the day of the surgery, but I was in contact with her sister and friend who were there the whole time.<\/p>\n
When I called to check in the morning at 8, they told me she was still not taken to the operation area, so that\u2019s another delay and I\u2019m still not thinking anything of it. Then, around maybe 12:00 PM, she was given pill\/drug to relax her and moved from the room to the operation area where no companions could enter beyond that point. As per the surgeon, the surgery would not take longer than 2 hours. So we all expected that at least by 3:00 PM we\u2019ll hear that she\u2019s in recovery room done from surgery. When I called at around 2:00 PM \u20142 hours after she was taken inside the operation area door where no one can go beyond but the patient\u2014I was shocked to know from her sister that they told her she was just taken to the surgery room where they will start the surgery. So for 2 hours, she was kept inside not having the surgery.<\/p>\n
At that point, I started to have some suspicions and discomfort about why all that delay. I kept all that to myself, and didn\u2019t discuss any concerns with her sister and friend. Just as the surgeon told us initially, 2 hours later, she was done.<\/p>\n
Later that night, I came by to check on her and she seemed fine. Not even having any pain or anything, just a little tired maybe. The doctor then walked in to check on her before leaving, and it was my first time to see him. He asked her how she was feeling and how everything is, and then he left saying his role is done now.<\/p>\n
The next day, obviously the pain will start to surface around the area where they operated on her, and that\u2019s normal. But she also complained about lots of pain in her back area (buttocks), and she was saying that\u2019s because of laying in bed all that time. This is where things started to make me more suspicious, and now my thoughts are going to places while putting together some of the pieces to make sense of my suspicions and all the delays.<\/p>\n
The recovery from the surgery requires her to have almost no mobility and barely move, and the overall recovery should take around two months. Therefore, we haven\u2019t been intimate together for three weeks since she had the surgery. We were basically afraid of hurting her leg. Then we decided that we be careful and take it easy and be together for one night.<\/p>\n
That night, her \u201cbody\u201d down there felt different to me. It\u2019s not the same feeling that I used to have with her before. We discussed a little, then I spoke. I told her what was in my head and what suspicions I had. She was shocked and thought I was overthinking and being crazy basically. She also explained to me that this due to her body being weak and not moving for a long period of time and the muscles are weak. She\u2019s also have been losing weight, and she says this also changed her body down there. Not only do I not blame her for thinking I\u2019m crazy to let my thoughts go there, but I am praying that these are only thoughts and what she said and believes IS the whole thing and nothing more.<\/p>\n
I started asking her about what she remembers and where she was and when did the doctor appear first and what did he say or if he did anything and so on. I also asked her if she remembers when she exactly received the anesthesia, just to make sure she was actually in the operation room with nurses and team around her, and thankfully that\u2019s how she got it and fell asleep. For the next three days, I would bring up my concerns lightly and discuss it a little then close the topic and go by our lives. The only thing that I didn\u2019t point out clearly to her was my thoughts about what is the cause of the pain in her back. Now while she still believe it\u2019s her bod being in bed for a long time is the cause, she kind of gave me a sense that she knows what I mean about how there is something else. Of course after having a small argument about the craziness of this whole thing, we agreed to close this topic being just a concern that has nothing true about it.<\/p>\n
I will see a therapist this week hopefully to discuss it with them, but I\u2019m still not sure what to think or do. It\u2019s driving me crazy to even slightly think about it. It\u2019s all about the unexpected time changes and scheduling and the period of the whole thing during the day of the operation.<\/p>\n
What should I do? How should I be thinking and looking at this?<\/p>\n

The day of the surgery, she was also delayed before going into the operation room, and when they did give her the pill to relax and take her to the operation area where no one else from her companions could go with her, they kept her there inside for two hours before actually starting the surgery. The next day she told me she was complaining from lots of pain in her buttocks area, and she thinks it\u2019s because of being in bed for too long. Since she\u2019s not supposed to move her leg for a while, we haven\u2019t been intimate for three weeks before we decided to take it easy and be together one night. That night her \u201cbody\u201d down there felt different to me, it\u2019s not the same feeling, it\u2019s different. I started suspecting something happened, and she thought I was crazy. She believes it\u2019s the weak muscles from sitting and no mobility as well as losing weight in these three weeks since the surgery.<\/p>\n
