Charlie Sheen admitted he didn’t have the best reaction initially<\/h2>\n

Charlie Sheen reflected on his first reaction to his daughter joining OnlyFans, admitting it was a \u2018knee-jerk\u2019 response.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 59-year-old actor was expecting the worse when he found out his second oldest daughter, Sami Sheen, had joined the\u00a0OnlyFans<\/a>\u00a0platform back in 2022.<\/p>\n

Sheen wasn\u2019t the only one with some reservations, however.<\/p>\n

Sami\u2019s\u00a0mom<\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong>Denise Richards, appeared to take issue with the move and advised the then 19-year-old to \u2018think twice\u2019 because there was a \u2018certain perception\u2019 that went with it.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em><\/a>\u00a0star would eventually turn to\u00a0social media<\/a>\u00a0to defend her daughter\u2019s choice as she\u00a0was posting on the platform as well<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In an\u00a0Instagram<\/a>\u00a0post at the time, Richards said: \u201cLots of negative comments on my social this past week. I have to say, I wish I had the confidence my 18 yr old daughter has.<\/p>\n

\u201cI also can\u2019t be judgmental of her choices. I did Wild Things & Playboy, quite frankly her father shouldn\u2019t be either.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd to be able to ignore the negativity at her age? It took me many years & I still sometimes struggle. I\u2019m in awe of her ability to be able to shut out the noise. Because it can destroy you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Previously\u00a0speaking to<\/a>\u00a0Bustle about his daughter joining the subscription-based site, Sheen admitted he was clear about his reservations before he came around to the idea.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI had a knee-jerk reaction to it because of the reputation that preceded it. I was just like, \u2018Oh, this can only go bad\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Two and a Half Men\u00a0<\/em>star admitted that wasn\u2019t his usual approach to new ventures but added that his reaction was tied to the fact it involved his daughter.<\/p>\n

Sheen explained: \u201cI think when your child is involved, it presents as just a whole different alternative set of circumstances.\u201d<\/p>\n

While\u00a0speaking to<\/a>\u00a0US Weekly, Sheen appeared to make a dig at Richards – who he split from in 2006 – by insisting that Sami did not start her career on the platform \u2018under his roof\u2019, alluding to the fact she was living with her mother at the time.<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cI do not condone this but since I\u2019m unable to prevent it, I urged her to keep it classy, creative and not sacrifice her integrity.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actor would eventually come around and that his daughter\u2019s success was partly dependent on the support she received from her parents.<\/p>\n

Sheen noted: \u201cShe\u2019s doing this and it can only be a much more successful and pleasant experience with the support of myself, her mom, and others.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have to have confidence and just know in my heart that all of her virtues and all the wonderfulness that makes her, her, come with her.\u201d<\/p>\n
