50 Funniest \u201cExpectation Vs Reality\u201d Architecture Design Fails<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been in architecture\u00a0long enough to know that what\u2019s on the page and what actually gets built are sometimes\u2026 wildly different things.<\/p>\n

You pour hours into a design, triple-check the specs, dream a little\u2014and then boom. Something in the field goes sideways and suddenly the elegant overhang is a tripping hazard, or the grand entrance is half a meter off.<\/p>\n

This post is for all my fellow architects,\u00a0designers, and chaos enjoyers.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a roundup of\u00a0 moments where the dream met the drywall\u2014and lost. Some are clearly budget cuts, others are just \u201c???\u201d But all of them are a reminder that\u00a0architecture lives in the real world, and the real world is hilarious.<\/p>\n
