It became one of the most famous photos in the world of cinema of the past century.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"-p--2\">\n<p>In 2014, in an interview with\u00a0<a class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\" href=\"http:\/\/popwatch.ew.com\/2014\/11\/03\/sophia-loren-jayne-mansfield\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-ylk=\"slk:Entertainment Weekly\" data-rapid_p=\"6\" data-v9y=\"1\">Entertainment Weekly<\/a>,\u00a0Sophia\u00a0Loren revealed the story behind the side eye in the photo:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;All of cinema was there, it was incredible. And then comes in Jayne Mansfield, the last one to come. For me,that was when it got amazing. She came right for my table. She knew everyone was watching. She sat down. And now, she was barely\u2026 Listen. Look at the picture.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Where are my eyes? I\u2019m staring at her nipples because I am afraid they are about to come onto my plate.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>In my face you can see the fear.
