Savannah Guthrie posts new video about mom Nancy\u2019s disappearance after cops searched sister Annie\u2019s home<\/h1>\n

Savannah Guthrie has released a heart-wrenching video on social media to appeal for support following her mom’s disappearance.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nancy Guthrie, 84,\u00a0has been missing\u00a0since January 31 after disappearing from her home in Tucson, Arizona, and she was reported missing after failing to attend a church service the next day. Authorities have since expressed the belief that she might have\u00a0been ‘taken’ against her will\u00a0in the middle of the night on February 1.<\/p>\n

It has been reported that several media outlets also received\u00a0a ‘ransom note’ with a deadline, and\u00a0FBI\u00a0Special Agent in Charge Heith Janke confirmed that a second deadline has since been given, telling the press: “If a transfer wasn\u2019t made, the second demand was for next Monday. I\u2019m not going to go beyond that.”<\/p>\n

As the investigation continues, Savannah, a cohost on\u00a0TODAY,\u00a0<\/em>took to\u00a0Instagram\u00a0with a video appealing for people to keep helping them find Nancy, calling the situation a ‘nightmare’.<\/p>\n

She thanked everyone for their prayers and ‘the love that we have felt, myself and my sister and brother and I, and that our mom has felt’.<\/p>\n

“We believe that somehow, someway she is feeling these prayers, and that God is lifting her even in this moment, in this darkest place,” she told her followers. “We believe our mom is still out there. We need your help.<\/p>\n

“Law enforcement is working tirelessly around the clock trying to bring her home, trying to find her. She was taken and we don’t know where, and we need your help.”<\/p>\n

Savannah went on to urge anyone with information that might help find Nancy to come forward.<\/p>\n

“I’m coming on just to ask you not just for your prayers, but no matter where you are even if you’re far from\u00a0Tucson, if you see anything, if you hear anything, if there’s anything at all that seems strange to you, that you report to law enforcement,” she said.<\/p>\n

Concluding her message, she said: “We are at an hour of desperation and we need your help.”<\/p>\n
