As you all know, Donald Trump paved over the grass of the Rose Garden.
It now looks like something straight out of Mar-a-Lago:
On Friday, he hosted his first event there, and he’s calling the space the “Rose Garden Club.”
Trump spent the evening drinking Diet Cokes and signing autographs while mingling with some of his fav Republican supporters from the House and Senate.
There was steak and seven-layer cake!
Well, a huge co-hort of people ripped it apart.
You had people like The Lincoln Project saying, “Your groceries still aren’t cheaper.”
And others comparing it to the Cheesecake Factory.
Wellllllll, Gavin Newsom chimed in, saying, “Our economy is in a downward spiral, but don’t worry — the @GOP are spending their time cheersing Diet Cokes at a new, exclusive ‘club.'”
He also gave the “Rose Garden Club” another nickname.
His Press Office has coined it the “Predator Patio.”
