I put “so far” at the end of that headline for two reasons: (1) because if you were of sentient age any time in the past, oh, 25 years, you may remember these things seem to go on a while and (2) because even as someone as chronically online as myself, I’m having a hard time keeping up with the WWIII tweets and memes ever since the U.S. bombed Iran Saturday night.
To give you a quick recap incase you, like Saddam, have been living under a rock, last night the U.S conducted bombing strikes on alleged Iranian nuclear weapons targets.
And then, as is the custom in these situations, dating back to the time of Thomas Jefferson,the U.S. President issued a statement on Truth Social, confirming the bombings and his alleged commitment to “peace.”
Then, as is also the ages old custom, Twitter (ahem, X.com) went to town with the hilarity.
